In my current private practice, I work with individual and couples, and employ an integrative approach to treatment, exploring how each client’s personal history and relationships have contributed to their resilience, or difficulties, in their current daily life. I work with adults, age 18 and over, with a focus on issues including chronic pain, and issues of aging. I possess extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, trauma history, and interpersonal relationship issues, inclusive of family and significant others.I also have a strong background in business, and as such possess an in-depth knowledge of career concerns, and how who we are in our work impacts all aspects of our lives. As an Interpersonal therapist, I view what makes us unique as a culmination of who we are in this world, the influence and impact of our significant relationships, and of our environment. In this view, problems are opportunities to understand ourselves better, and to poise us for growth.

Allenmore Psychological Associates

Provided individual and couples therapy for adult clients 18 years of age and older. Treated clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues, as well as trauma, chronic pain, serious physical and mental illness, and the emotional issues of grief and loss. Performed adult psychological assessment and evaluations.

Argosy University, Seattle

Taught undergraduate courses in Psychology, including Forensic and I/O (Business) psychology courses, to adult learners pursuing degree completion.

Private sector

Psychotherapy, dissertation and career counseling services to adults, including individual, group, and couples counseling, individual career assessment and workshops. Research interests include career and life transitions and adjustment.

University of Washington Counseling Center

Provided brief individual and group psychotherapy and psychological and career assessment and counseling to college student population, including consultation, crisis intervention, intakes, and individual, couple, and group psychotherapy with diverse under- graduate and graduate student populations, presenting with a wide range of concerns, including transition, adjustment, academic, and interpersonal issues. Populations treated included first generation, transfer, non-traditional, LGBTQ, and minority, immigrant, and native student groups. Conducted intake and crisis assessment and intervention, including DSM diagnoses,
treatment planning and community referrals. Co-developed and facilitated anxiety psycho-education and support group, using the ACT psychotherapy model. Consulted and collaborated with University personnel (e.g. career center, Q Center, Office of Minority Affairs) on joint projects in support of student persistence. Developed and conducted programming and outreach (e.g. stress management, diversity, career and values exploration, academic concerns, transition to the workplace). Administered and interpreted personality, projective, and career assessments, providing verbal and written feedback and reports for students presenting with diverse psychological presentations. Specialized training in career assessment and counseling, incorporating individual and group MBTI and SII administration and interpretation, values and transitions workshops, and
Multi-cultural considerations in career planning. Received weekly supervision of individual and group therapy, assessment, and career clients

Developed new practicum site opportunities, provided ongoing support to existing sites to develop updated profiles, practicum agreements, student placement opportunities, and negotiated supervision for Psy.D and MA Clinical Psychology graduate students. Coordinated practicum and internship programs, including supervision, students contact hours tracking, and services. Advised students on Clinical Psychology program academic requirements, choosing areas of specialization, and clinical training focus. Produced corporate clinical training reporting and APA accreditation documents, and developed and maintained all training program databases and communication. Provided practicum and internship support and advising to clinical psychology graduate students, and advised practicum and internship students in areas of site selection, contract development, hours tracking, and program requirements. Trained and supervised student workers.
